# Nursigo anatomy visual credits

## Atlas question plates

The PNG files in `/anatomy/plates/` are Nursigo renders of the licensed 3D organs described below. Selected named structures are isolated, lit and rendered with Three.js; no disease or abnormality is simulated. These are normal adult reference models. Captions identify the structures; the clinical scenarios are original educational questions. `atlas-plates.json` records the source model, selected structure and SHA-256 checksum of every render. Rendered adaptations retain attribution under CC BY 4.0.

## 3D reference organs

Nursigo adaptations: original GLBs renamed; vertices welded; geometry simplified with a target ratio of 35% and a 0.1% relative error limit; vertex attributes quantized and Meshopt compressed. Named structure hierarchies remain intact. Runtime selection isolates existing anatomy, and the camera frames the selected structure. No pathological changes or physiological simulation have been added. Reference organ models show selected adult anatomy, not every anatomical variation or microscopic structure.

## Medical illustrations

Images provided by **Servier Medical Art**, licensed under [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Original images are unchanged and renamed locally:

- `heart.png`: [Heart](https://smart.servier.com/smart_image/smart-heart-sagittal/) (`coeur_01.png`).
- `lungs.png`: [Lungs](https://smart.servier.com/smart_image/lungs-11/) (`poumons_01.png`).
- `kidney.png`: [Kidney](https://smart.servier.com/smart_image/kidney-4/) (`Rein_beau.png`).

In existing heart and lung quiz illustrations, Nursigo adds abbreviated labels as a separate SVG overlay. The original PNG files remain unchanged. Other uses display the unlabelled originals.

## Provenance and teaching content

The adjacent `manifest.json` records exact source URLs, original and optimized sizes, SHA-256 checksums and changes. No endorsement of Nursigo by the asset creators is implied.

Teaching notes and questions were written for Nursigo. The lesson's learning-source links point to NHLBI, NIDDK and OpenStax references used to check foundational anatomy. These are supplemental learning exercises, not official examination questions. Anatomical colours in the 3D assets identify structures and should not be interpreted as measured oxygenation or disease states.
